At ButterUp, we believe everyone should have access to wholesome, clean, delicious food. Our nut-based spreads have bold, decadent flavours that you won’t find anywhere else. Proudly made in New Zealand, non-peanut and refined-sugar free, ButterUp butters are indulgent, nutrient dense, made from clean ingredients and crafted for the whole family.

We’re two friends who started with a simple idea and have turned it into something we’re incredibly proud of. Our journey began while working together selling socks and undies (yes, you read that right!), where we discovered a shared love for great food, creativity, fun, and a little bit of the unconventional. We were looking for foods that were both healthy and tasty and started experimenting with hemp, which is a powerhouse of nutrients. What started as a passion project quickly became a fully fledged business under The Hemp Butter Co. Six years later, we have launched our new brand ButterUp, with a beautiful range of decadent, delicious, almond, cashew and pistachio butters.

We've made it our goal to create non-peanut products that not only satisfy taste buds but also provide vital nutrients. Our spreads are bursting with flavour and are natural power-packs of essential nutrients including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, healthy fats, protein and fibre.
